The giveaway ended on November 1, 2024, and all unclaimed coins were burned. No claims are accepted anymore. This guide stays up as history. Steps 1 through 8 still work as a general walkthrough for connecting a Zano wallet to Bandit City.

πŸ”§ Troubleshooting

Why is claim showing as "busy"?

Sometimes, you may encounter a "busy" message when trying to claim your Bandit coins. This is most likely due to locked Bandit coins on the airdrop wallet.

Explanation: In the CryptoNote protocol that Bandit is built on, after a transaction, you need to wait for 10 confirmations for the change to arrive. Essentially, the system is waiting for the amount to become available for the next claimer.

What to Do:

  • Wait for a few minutes (usually 2-3 minutes)
  • Try claiming again
  • If the issue persists, check the Zano blockchain explorer to verify network status

Other Common Issues

Wallet Not Connecting:

  • Ensure Zano Companion is properly installed and the secret key is correctly entered
  • Check that your Zano desktop wallet is running and synced
  • Try refreshing the browser page

Alias Not Found:

  • Your alias must have been registered before July 1, 2024 to be eligible
  • Verify your alias is correctly registered in your Zano wallet
  • Make sure you're using the same wallet that contains your alias
